I enjoy this programme as I gain real world experience, this is applying what I learn in real-time, working on actual projects and solving real- world problems. This hands-on experience is incredibly fulfilling and provide a sense of accomplishment.
Unilever's degree apprenticeship programmes are highly organized and structured to provide comprehensive support and development for us as apprentices. My programme includes formal training to ensure I gain the necessary knowledge and skills. This training is designed to complement on-the-job experience, providing a balanced approach to learning.
I receive mentorship from experienced professionals who provide advice, feedback, and support throughout the programme. This helps me navigate challenges and develop my skills.
There is a lot of support from our training provider to make sure we are on track with our education learning and our on the job committments. The balance between both is important and when struggling between the both, Unilever and our training provide find ways to make it less challenging showing the importance of apprentice management.
My training provider provides the key skills required via information and assignments whereas when working on my daily role, I am able to put these knowledge and skills to practice in the real working world
There are many social events that occur throughout the year, there is also a Unilever Football team that get the opportunity to play in a stadium between the 2 offices of Kingston and 100VE
