Teams chat and meetings with colleagues. Replying to internal emails and Teams chat. Get assigned valuation analytics type projects. Just completed one of feasibility of using specific form of property data from a commercial partner. Monitoring weekly automated task and reporting on this.

In the main the apprenticeship programme has been enjoyable and rewarding. Last three months less so because of the stress and anxiety caused by having to complete the EPA portfolio, project and presentation.
The training programme offering from QA was/is well organised. The work-based portfolio activities were a mixed bag. Some room for improvement from the employer side.
Securing suitable work-based projects has not been supported as well as could be. Once the project has commenced, support is good. Weekly and other ad-hoc meetings with line manager support the learning.
Training provider has been very good in this respect. My DLC ensured that I was as prepared as I possibly could be throughout the process so far.
This is difficult to assess as much of the training does not correlate directly with my day-to-day work. However, I can see that it will be of invaluable help in progressing within my current field.
Yes, there is currently a weekly Thursday night social outing organised for colleagues at the Canary Wharf site. There is a weekly half hour quiz amongst my colleagues. during work time.
Yes
It is a great friendly, supportive and encouraging employer. It provides a great deal of opportunities to learn, train and develop yourself. There are regular knowledge shares, at least 2 /month at different levels.
Do not think twice, make the move. Having come from another civil service department where the management style was so oppressive, VOA has been a complete contrast. Highly recommended employer.
