My job role is an apprentice, which means that I have to follow the order of whoever I’m working with/for. This means that I do a variety of jobs that are based or linked to painting and decorating. For example rolling in a wall or rubbing down filler.
Since joining Bagnalls, my confidence towards others has improved. I also feel like as I work more and as time goes on my skills in painting improve aswell.
I enjoy meeting new people. It gets me out of my comfort zone. All the people in my branch are nice to talk to and work with. It makes the experience at Bagnalls more enjoyable.
Bagnalls as a company, helps me with my apprenticeship. Bagnalls and Doncaster college work well together to make sure I’m doing good for my course and that I’m doing good at work also.
If there is a time where I need to ask questions about my apprenticeship or about work. Bagnalls helps me understand what to do and come across in a polite and respective way. It makes me feel more comforted to know I can go to them for help.
At Bagnalls we have the academy which helps with work related or competition related painting needs. I also go to college for learning the other bits that I don’t do at work such as wallpapering. Both places offer good learning and support for when I need it.
When learning at the college or at the academy, Both the locations help me in different ways to perform better and more efficient at work. As in both places I can practice and learn ways to work more efficient whilst at work.
I haven’t heard anything yet, there’s nothing I know about extra curricular, apart from weekend work. But other than that I’m not sure about any other activities.
Yes
It’s a good firm to work for. There’s many benefits to working at Bagnalls. Plus you’re very cared for. The health and safety is the number one, most important thing that they care about at the firm.
Definitely apply, it’s worth joining. I’ve learnt so much so far being here. Id definitely recommend joining. It helps with confidence and improving skills.
