My role on a day to day basis involves learning in class room environments and completing exams, during the practical phase it was completing assessed tasks
I have learnt new hand skills during the practical phase as i have never done anything like it before
I enjoy the programme, i do struggle with theory side of the programme however
the programme is organised well as to understanding what we are doing, however any changes or knowing which staff we have is not communicated as well
i receive a fair amount of support, giving us training is we fail exams
when working towards qualifications staff are great, we can go to them for any support needed with the module, other staff members are happy to help as much as they can too
i feel the qualification is necessary for the role and this motivated me to try my best at it
i have attended outwardbounds at the beginning of my programme and i have also attended a STEM event recently
Yes
i feel if you are interested in the aviation industry and willing to put the work in it is a very good programme to reach those goals
make sure to get your head down during the theory lessons and during the interview process to reasearch about the company and to learn as much as you can
