  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I assist our Partner Training team in developing eLearning and helping with all design needs for training, process guides, follow ups and data analysis documents. I also assist with the creation of monthly Bulletins for our Group Brands and support where I can with the wider team in Internal Communications.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt more about Learning Management Systems and the overall processes on how such a large company works. I've developed on my digital design skills and my video editing skills to help with the work I produce for my team.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme, the only downside is that it is all online which I sometimes find difficult to focus during coaching sessions or webinars, but I have learnt a lot about business learning and development through the online coursework set by the apprenticeship team.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised, there is a listed structure throughout the whole of the programme and any questions I have are answered in detail to give me a better understanding. I feel confident my best interests are in mind when I speak with my coaches.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have all the support I could need from everyone within my team and my manager. I have always felt supported and appreciated within my role.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my coaches although due to the course being predominantly online it is easy for me to forget I have the resources with them at hand, I find a face-to-face relationship can help establish these tendencies more.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There is a lot of information that I did not know/understand when I began my role, the training and coursework I have been issued has helped as a learning curve and for any refreshers I may need if I am confused. It has helped improve my work positively.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are but I have not yet joined one.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The work-life balance here is amazing, I have never felt so supported in a role than I have in BMW Group.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • It is a friendly environment to work in, but having some knowledge behind the business and the financial services world could help improve your development quicker.
