My role can change depending on the day. Whether that be upholstering seats , building tables , creating excel sheets or doing admin. However my main task as an apprentice is to learn as much as i can about all of the business to help the future of the company in a future role.
Yes i have learnt so many skills on the apprenticeship , Being on the apprenticeship i have learn't how to sew , upholseter , check for quality issues in leather , cover all interior parts , help develop new models and also help with mandatory air bag tests. A big thing i've taken away form this apprentice ship is that my social skills have greatly increased as i'm always meeting and speaking to new people everyday.
I enjoy my job very much and recommend the apprentice to anyone who wants to work with cars or even people who are unsure what they want to do because you can find what your passionate here.
The structure and organisation could definitely improve however it has improved since i first started my apprenticeship.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and have weekly 1-1 meetings to talk about my progress and future within the business. I don't have many problems but if i did i know that there would be people there to support me with them.
I receive the right amount of support so that i can achieve my qualification
My qualification helps me understand how to make production more efficient and lean. When i go into production zones i feel like i can always find ways to make the process easier and faster.
Not that i'm aware off
Yes
It's a decent job that has good wages and it's a brilliant apprentice for your first step of many into your working career. As long as you have the right mindset you will go far with this apprenticeship.
I would recommend that you just have the right "never give up" mindset and be yourself when applying for this job
