i work on the production doing the cars at tack time i am a sewing apprentice so therefore i am making the car parts out of leather and sewing it to the.
ive learned how to sew and work within the production tack time which has made me build up my skills and make me more useful with my team.
i enjoy it because there is more than one side to the whole thing like the collage side and there is also the work side of things where you can go to different departments and get to know how things work around the company.
it very well structured as there are different people around you if you need anything and they are also very supporting when it comes to other things like collage work or just the general checking in.
i receive a lot of support from my apprentice coaches as if i need anything they are very useful and are always there same with the team we have in our departments managers.
i don't really receive any support from my training provider at work how every the support from my collage side is brilliant and helps with anything that is needed collage work etc.
it has help me because now i can use my skills down where i am working to help me improve with my work and get better results, if i was to improve i could then go on to doing different things in the company and work my way up the ladder by always improving.
we have some school events and the green goblin where they chose a school to help them build i little car, they also do Christmas markets and pick a charity and what every they make from the Christmas market will be given to the charity of choice.
Yes
i think is a good place to be when you feel comfortable where you are, but if you didn't enjoy it you could be put into a different place or different department depending on the situation
id give some advice to push through and make sure you stand out and don't be shy because sometimes it can make you look bad and you wont be involved in some of the stuff that others maybe involved in but also to just be you, don't try to fit in with something if you are not comfortable.
