  • My role consists of working with the public/organisations to promote our service, create our newsletter and bulletins, send and respond to enquiries and emails, plan and organise events. Look at how we can reach out to hidden carers and promote.

  • I have learned so much when it comes to working with the public, building on communciation skills, professionalism, and planing projects and managing workloads better.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy that my job matters and makes a difference to members of our community, i enjoy working with public having conversations with people, creation of media and publishing information and working with my colleauges.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is structured in a way where i set time asside to complete apprenticeship whilst i am at work, this allows me to complete all my work duties at work and appenticeship work leaving personal time for just me and my family.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is very supportive of me, my line manager helps me with any problems or queries i have and looks out for my health and supports me with my apprenticeship coursework.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Its been a difficult experience for me when it comes to my training provider, i have found it difficult to learn with the style of teaching. My line manager and apprenticeship team has been very supportive of making sure the right support is put in place for me to learn effectively. I am on track with my apprenticeship work and my employer is very supportive of my work. I am hoping with the changes in teaching style with my training provider i will better understand and build a much more positive relationship to my coursework.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that some elements of my qualification dont completely apply to my job role, which has been highlighted in conversations with my tutor and my line manager. There are elements to my qualification that greatly help with my performance in my job role. Including effective communciation skills, project management, understanding of my organisation and how it is structered.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • My organisation has benefits that allow me to sometimes get free tickets or discounts to events and different products. Which is great, they have a good traning so you can improve extra cirricular areas.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The organisation and the apprenticeship team are very supportive of you in your job role and your own wellbeing. I havent found an organisation in previous work this supportive of me. I enjoy the fact that i am still getting education and learning new skills but also having employment at the same time to support me and my family. I would recommend this organisation to others interested in getting a job or apprenticeship with them.
