  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme I have found to be very educational. I have developed many skills such as excel. At times I have been under a huge amount of stress due to not understanding my role or what is expected of me, but with communication I have been able to overcome this. It has however prepared me for many tough environments.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is decently organised. I have struggled with my university however that is external to my workplace. Due to how my specific role is structured I do have to reply on input from many areas of finance which can hold me back due to others not always fulfilling there roles on time,.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • BPP university have been very disorganised and unreliable. I have found their lack of care and attention to the students to be difficult to work with. Other apprentices have not had this struggle however so this is not reflected across all apprentices.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel I am gaining a greater understanding of the business and the importance of accountancy. It is also helping me perform better as to keep up with the university work I am required to be at a certain level of organisation which bleeds into my role to ensure I do not miss deadlines or fall behind.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The extra-curricular activities are very good. There are many opportunities to network, socialise and get out of the office. I have found that these events have really helped me throughout my experience as they are not only giving me something to look forward to but are really building my relationships around the office making it a much nicer environment to be in.
