Using various tools and equipment to carry out jobs within maritime defence on submarines. Also, completing coursework revolving mechanical fitting and showing understanding within that role
Learnt how to use different machines and tools, built up confidence, communication skills and social skills.
I do enjoy this programme as tutors, coaches and leaders are very understanding and help with any queries about the job or other situations.
It can be organised to an extent, however some aspects are quite unorganised and last minute with not the best communication from various trades.
Received a good amount of support when it was needed.
Quite a lot of support through different trade roles such as leaders or coaches which help along the way and builds knowledge.
Yes there are sport events, stem events, school events, opening events, tours etc
Yes
Overall its a good place to work and the people involved in your apprenticeship are spot on and want you to succeed and grow.
To speak up and ask if you arent sure, or to highlight something that isnt right. And that just because your an apprentice it doesnt mean you cant have a say, people are very understanding and listen well.
