I work for 2 accounts for Capgemini where my day-to-day tasks consist of project management, procurement support, onboarding/offboarding resources and month-end financials/forecasting.
I have only been pursuing the course for a couple months. I have developed a strong knowledge of business strategy and the theory behind it. I have also developed skills in applying principles related to governance and overseeing contracts. I hope to learn and develop more skills as the course progresses.
So far I am enjoying the program and look forward to the development opportunities. I have also broadened my network by meeting other individuals from different areas of the company. My only worry at this time is managing the balance between the day-to-day role and the apprenticeship program.
The program has a clear structure however the comms haven't always been the most clear from the apprenticeship provider which has lead to missing some requirements. After a call with my apprenticeship tutor, she cleared up some of what was missed and I am more confident to proceed.
My reviewer and mentor have supported me well for my program by helping me consider opportunities to meet my apprenticeship skill goals in the workplace.
I have received support from my training provider. Whenever I mail a question or have a call they are always helpful.
I hope that it will develop my knowledge and skillset which will boost my career opportunities within Capgemini.
From reading comms I can see that there are a lot of socials but I haven't attended many.
