Software engineering - development of required features, fixing bugs, collaboration with team and client
Yes - new skills through external and internal projects and gained certifications subsidised by the company
the content is interesting so i enjoy learning that but juggling my time is a challenge
communications are useful and come out when there are major updates to be aware of. Can be hard to keep track of notifications on canvas as mobile version is not great
lots of support from my assigned mentor. we have catch-ups every two weeks where we discuss the content i am learning and ideas for my assignments
lots of support through office hours and coaching sessions plus workshops to help us do well in our assignments
it doesn't feel as applicable to my role but it has given me the opportunities through my mentor to apply the skills i am learning. i definitely want to continue with these responsibilities in my career and current role.
