I am an electrical apprentice, on a day to day basis I try to help my supervisors out by doing the best I can. Which could entail; pulling cables, making up containment or making the cables off and connecting up.
Yes- I have learnt how to work properly in a team and to listen to everyone else’s ideas, I have also been lucky enough to learn a trade which will help in future life.
I enjoy my program a lot, as the company is nice to work for. You can always get ahold of your manager, if there’s a problem.
The programme is very well structured as they did everything they could to help me progress through my apprenticeship and progress my knowledge on the job. So I can be the best electrician I can be
I receive as much support as I need/ask for. Nothing is too much for them and they will always help whenever I need it.
The training provider writhin the last 2 years has really picked up and pushed me through my qualification. To hopefully get me done this year. As my class were delayed by Covid 19.
My training provider, helps provide all the knowledge and training that I need for the job. I know there is someone I can always call, if I need help with something. So it helps me relax as I know that if I find a problem, I have the right people around me to help me through it.
My company do a lot for charity and a lot of volunteering days. For example they raise money for charity’s by doing a dragon boat race (rowing race) which is ran in the Birmingham canal system. And they help the British Red Cross by volunteering at the harborne festival. They do loads more.
Yes
As I have previously stated. They are a good company to work for. They’re always there to help if needs be and it pays well. The people at this business are kind and will always lend a helping hand
Do it. But be patient as they reward you on the job you are doing. So do the best you can and it will be noticed.
