  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As an engineering technician apprentice you may be sat in the warm office doing admin work or find yourself out maintaining equipment at 3am on a cold winters night. there is many different tasks involved in this job that can be fairly mundane or very challenging but that's what makes it enjoyable.

  • I have developed many different skills over my time at network, these range from leadership skills to problem solving to technical hand skills and many more!

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy it, I have a supportive team surrounding me that I learn a great deal off.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Excellent, i haven't had any issues with the structure of the programme, I know what I'm doing weeks in advance the majority of the time.

  • Loads, they are very supportive and offer many different forms of support aswell.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Plenty enough support, they are at the end of an email or phone call if needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe it has contributed tremendously the the job role I am taking part in, it helped build the foundation for me to be an efficient member of the team.

  • team building events in the lake district.

  • Do your research prior to starting especially around the health and safety initiatives like the 'life saving rules'
