My role day to day involves the recruitment of a variety of roles across the ALDI UK 11 regions. I liaise with internal stakeholders on a day to day basis and regularly report on recruitment trends and changes and feed this into strategic decisions made by my senior leaders.
I have learnt a lot more about different employment laws and how they are put into action day to day within HR. This isn't something I work as closely with in recruitment so it's interesting to see how this works
I am really enjoying my programme, the webinars are really engaging and helpful. I am able to go online on my portal and re-watch them if needed and my tutor is great and always on hand to support with anything I need.
The programme is really well structured, I am able to know in advance when my webinars are taking place so I can work this around my day to day job and I can plan around my deadlines as these are all set out well in advance too.
My employer has been great in supporting me to complete my apprenticeship. I am able to complete my apprenticeship work within my working week and I am able to manage my own diary affectively.
I have regular catch ups with my mentor and she is really supportive if I have any questions or queries.
I think doing this apprenticeship will widen my knowledge of HR policy and procedure as a whole and will allow me to be a more well rounded HR professional

ALDI is a great employer that really does value it's staff members and their progression. I love being a part of Team Aldi and look forward to developing my career here.
My advice would be yourself, Aldi looks for people who can bring their unique and original ideas to continuously improve and grow our business so don't be afraid to be bold.
