I assist my senior colleagues throughout all stages of the planning applications process, including submitting applications and engaging with the Council. Since I have been on my degree apprenticeship, my role has expanded to include project management and taking the lead on small scale development projects.
I have developed my project management skills, my written and verbal communication skills, my understanding of planning processes and my public speaking.
I have enjoyed studying and working at the same time, and I have developed numerous skills. My confidence has also grown and I have developed as a planner.
The programme is well structured, with training days and opportunities to further my knowledge and skills.
I receive excellent support from my employer, through training days and a structured programme
I have now completed my Masters degree with LSBU, and during the course of my Masters, I received very good support.
I learnt a lot on my Masters course, and this has certainly helped with my professional development.
I have been involved with the Savills Women's football team and Women in Planning network events.
