My role day to day varies depending on the just one day I could be cutting out inserts, could be nut and bolt work, or fabricating a frame
I have learnt new skills and this job has also helped with my communication skills
The program is good however theres some areas that need improvement, being the course at college needs to be more specific to the trade and I feel there are some areas that can be taken out as we can't use these in the yard.
It is alright within the dockyard but at college there is nothing enough support for struggling apprentices
I receive plenty of support from my employers
There is not enough support when it comes to the college and there is no support system in place to help
I have learnt a couple of things from college but I have ultimately learnt more form the dockyard
Not to my knowledge
Yes
I find it an enjoyable work place and good qualifications as a result
Show that your interested and want to be there
