  • My role day to day varies depending on the just one day I could be cutting out inserts, could be nut and bolt work, or fabricating a frame

  • I have learnt new skills and this job has also helped with my communication skills

  • The program is good however theres some areas that need improvement, being the course at college needs to be more specific to the trade and I feel there are some areas that can be taken out as we can't use these in the yard.

  • It is alright within the dockyard but at college there is nothing enough support for struggling apprentices

  • I receive plenty of support from my employers

  • There is not enough support when it comes to the college and there is no support system in place to help

  • I have learnt a couple of things from college but I have ultimately learnt more form the dockyard
