Throughout a typical day i will attend meetings, the machines and continue my weekly tasks. These could involve things like proving out programs aiding a machine after a crash or looking into CAD models for future parts.
From my college course I have learnt to do thing such as using mills and lathes along with plenty of other tools. I've also learnt work specific skill such as programing and using 5 axis cnc machines
I really enjoy my apprenticeship every day is different and we are given great opportunities to learn and improve our skills.

I changed college due to lack of support, at my new college they visit consistently every 6 weeks and overall communication is better
my course is specific to my job all the skills that I learn are applicable.
yes we are always taking part in tours at the plant or going to schools to talk about our apprenticeships and taking part in things such as the green cars where we help primary schools build electric cars.
Yes
Not only is the job a great opportunity but the amount that you get given through out is amazing. Furthermore it's valuable hands on experience that you cant get in most places.
