- Working with placement manager on different tasks according with company demand - working on new transport and schemes - working with policy - engaging with stakeholders - writing reports - admin
- working with stakeholders - how to write reports - writing formally - using software like GIS - understanding policy
- enjoy as there is lots to do - moving to new placements can be difficult but good challenge - nice and positive environment - supportive college and peers
- well structured with different 6 month placements - blocked out weeks for college - time for work and education - annual leave can be taken at my own convenience
- good support from employer - slightly depends on your placement manager but I have had all good experiences - if confused or unsure can ask anyone within team
- good support from college - teachers ensure we have understood tasks - marking can take time
- helps me understand schemes and projects at work - better informed my understanding of policy and government - helps me understand what future placements I would experience next - more confidence in my role at work
