Tracking works done on the projects and quantifying variations for the end of month applications of payment. Invoicing and Allocating Payments. Amending and settling any disputed items with clients, attending site meetings. Helping to deliver the end of month reports such as the CVR and the Business Unit Reports for our branches.
During this apprenticeship I have developed on my existing administration skills and solidified my numerical abilities. I am currently developing my cost control skills by analysing the projects and understanding how to problem solve any issues that may arise. My communication skills have developed during my apprenticeship as I am communicating effectively with my manager and team as well as building relationships with clients.
Since starting this apprenticeship, I have enjoyed it from the start. At UCEM, my teachers are very knowledgeable and are available to help at any time to ensure that I understand the criteria. My Apprenticeship Outcomes Officer is dedicated to ensuring that I remain on track and up to date with all of the materials and help that is being offered to me.
The programme and it's learning materials and module structure is well organised and clearly set out. The online portal is user-friendly and functional, I am able to go back and find previous recordings of the lectures and other study support sessions so that I can access all helpful materials.
I am receiving masses of support from my employer. My manager is the most supportive and knowledgeable boss I could ask for. She helps me with any academic questions I might have as well as supporting me with the work load on the projects, explaining to me how the tasks we are doing can link to my apprenticeship.
My training provider has supported me massively. I can email them with any queries I have and they will provide an answer and supply me with any information I need. They organise quarterly reviews to ensure that I am doing well and find out how I am coping with the workload and asks how they can help.
My qualification helps me massively to understand the overall structure of the construction process. It links well with my job as it is focusing on developing my skills such as, administration, cost control and financial reporting skills as well as teaching me how important health and safety is and how I can be more sustainable in my role.
My work has opportunities to get involved in activities charities. We are all given a charity day each year which we can choose to take to do an activity that will help raise money for our chosen charity.
Yes
I would recommend this company to a friend because this company is willing to invest in you. They value people who are hard working and dependable.
The advice I would give to others applying to Enigma is to work hard and ask questions when you need help as people are willing to help.
