  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • 7/10

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have definitely acquired a bunch of new skills whether they are hard/soft skills and one of them being communication as I felt like my communication was subpar before joining, but after joining this apprenticeship role, I am confident to speak to my employers, colleagues, customers, and even external visitors.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do feel like it can get monotonous at times and can lead up to a lot pressure and stress to get deadlines finished but as an overall experience, it's okay.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I would say it is organised as there are goals set in place for you and targets for you to achieve - not only that, there are monthly calls with your employer and training provider and quarterly calls with other apprentices to see how everyone is getting on and this gives you a chance to speak about any queries and/or concerns that you face. It is well structured and thought out and I do not have any negative feedback on this.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I do believe I could have received more support at the start of my apprenticeship as I was unfamiliar with everything and felt a lack of support as if I was thrown into the deep end but as I gradually went on through my apprenticeship, support has been somewhat stable. It can be better but it is not the worst.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Honestly, my training provider has been super excellent and very thoughtful and throughout the monthly calls that I had, the presentations were very clear and easy to comprehend and if I was confused or stuck, I could easily contact them about it and they would respond immediately. Additionally, I felt like I have been given more support from my training provider than from my employer.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I don't necessarily believe that it plays a major role.

    3/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are no social activities or clubs that you can get involved but there are professional networking events that take place occasionally such as workshops and visiting other branches in different parts of the UK. I think that it depends on your role and team if you want to have any extra-curricular activities such going out with your team for events so it really is subjective.
