My role varies depending on the team I'm working on, recently I have been involved in writing automation scripts which are intended to take over from manual processes using Python and boto3.
I have developed my skills in Python as well as got some experience in using the boto3 SDK to interact with AWS services.
I am enjoying it, I live the relaxed nature of my job, there isn't any micro-managing, I'm left free to work on what I have to do.
I would say it is well structured. Each Wednesday is university day so I get to be in class for that day.
I don't receive much but that's because I haven't needed any so far. I know that if I was struggling with something then I would get that help.
I receive a lot of support, lecturers are happy to make themselves available if I have any questions. They are also happy to provide feedback on any work I have before I submit it.
I've learnt more about Python which has helped me in my job.
No there are not, I work from home so this isn't really possible.
Yes
I like how I am left alone and trusted to do my job, there isn't any micro-managing involved and I know that I can get help from people if I need it.
Go for it.
