I lead on UI for First Choice, collaborating with UX Designers and Developers, owning the creation and maintenance of our design system and endeavouring to improve accessibility for our customers.
I have learned a ton of skills through this programme already, it has built my confidence in subjects I already had some knowledge about, and introduced me to new skills and ways of thinking too!
I love the programme, our apprenticeship coaches are really supportive, we have a wonderful group of learners that has helped to expand my network and wider business knowlesge, and the workshop sessions are always great!
The organisation is excellent, there are regular workshops, work is always uploaded into smart assessor in advance, and the progress reviews are regularly booked in. There is also a regular drop in session to ask for support, although if we need support outside of this that is totally fine too!
My employer is empowering me to complete this programme by allowing me to manage my own time and block out my calendar to work on my apprenticeship when needed. My line manager attends progress reviews and is always happy to support with anything that I need.
The TUI apprenticeship coaches are always on hand to help with anything we need
It teaches me best practice when it comes to being a new manager, and shows me frameworks and techniques that I might have never come across otherwise. It also helps boost confidence in my abilities
We have both virtual and in person socials, including team days, virtual quizzes and christmas parties.

TUI really believes in developing their staff, and you can take part in as much or as little as you want. I was pleased to be able to take part in an apprenticeship through work and have this much support from my employer to do so.
Go for it, TUI cares about your development and growth, I have never worked anywhere like it!
