My day-to-day consists of learning as a network engineer on an educational side of things and on a job role side of things. It also includes some troubleshooting and admin work occasionally. There is always something to do which is also great!
I have learnt how to use more of the equipment used on a daily basis on both software and hardware. This includes becoming more proficient in my workflow on what Im using. I also have devolved much better presentation and speaking skills in my journey.
I greatly enjoy my programme and what im doing as well as progressing too! I feel I have grown quicker in my career and education quicker than I have expected! There is always something to do and everyone is very welcoming and friendly too.
It was very organised on the company side of things however the Training Provider was less organised at the beginning and sometimes still are. However, this has not stunted any growth, and the support is still given. The structure is felt and has a lot of thought put into it especially by company.
I receive lots of support and is always given to help growth and knowledge. This is not coming from just networks but also other teams helping out and being incredibly supportive too.
I always receive the support needed towards all my qualifications. However a lot of the time you may need to do your own research and as always reach out first. Nonetheless support is still there.
feel it helps in understanding network fundamentals and how they work, it also helps my growth in learning other qualifications as a stepping stone.
There are many to do if you just ask people and get to know others. These are amazing times and worth the time and effort to go!
