  • My role involves turning data insights into practical business solutions. Daily, I use tools like DataIKU and SQL/Snowflake to productionise models and analyse data. I collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges and develop data-driven solutions that drive value. I also work closely with my team, focusing on learning and improving our data science practices.

  • I've gained proficiency in Python programming, grasped fundamental software engineering principles, and developed a strong understanding of various machine learning methods. As the saying goes in data science, every day is a school day, and I'm constantly learning and growing.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. It provided a fantastic opportunity for professional growth, allowing me to apply the data science techniques I learned at university to solve real business challenges and contribute meaningfully to the business. I also greatly valued the supportive environment of working alongside a cohort of fellow apprentices, which fostered a strong sense of learning and collaboration.

  • The programme was very well organised and structured. My team were highly supportive, providing dedicated time for my apprenticeship studies and creating opportunities to apply my new skills in practical scenarios. The apprenticeship itself had a clear and effective cadence, which facilitated my learning and development.

  • We have numerous clubs covering a wide range of interests, much like university societies. Additionally, some Partners within our team organise professional networking events, such as the Tableau Data + Women initiative, providing excellent opportunities for connection and learning.
