I do a variety of different tasks; from designing new tools for the line, programming robots, or working hands on to fix tooling. I can do this as I follow a 6 week rotation plan so I can experience a wide range of jobs.
I have developed many skills since joining Cummins, I've developed my problem-solving and my ability to think quickly on my feet from being down on the production line where you need to be quick and effective.
I love the programme, I work with loads of great people and really enjoy what I do day to da.
I follow a straightforward programme and course structure, I know exactly who I can speak to if I have a problem. The uni course is also well structured.
Whenever I need a hand they are more than accommodating, people are always open to offering advice and a helping hand.

In every aspect from applied mechanics to engineering practices it helped me understand the role of an engineer and how to be more effective.
I take part in lots of volunteering opportunities, from career events at local schools to gardening for local charities.

Gain experience with hands-on projects but most importantly have a true passion for engineering.
