My role includes looking through CVs daily through multiple jobs, shortlisting and speaking to candidates to arrange interviews and sending offer letters through to our onboarding team. I also do basic admin duties such as update information on our system and also update reports.
I would say this company has helped me develop my daily interaction skills. When i joined this business i was a shy individual and since joining this company i have gained so much more confidence when speaking to people, as it is also part of my job daily.
I enjoy my apprenticeship program. I can use the skills in my workplace as i am completing the business admin apprenticeship, this really helps along side my job. However there are some stuff that i do not cover in my job, bur it is good to learn about these things.
I would say my programme is well organised. The organisation gives great support materials as to what parts of the apprenticeship are happening at what points. They also check up on you frequently to make sure that you are on track to completing your apprenticeship
I receive a good amount of support from my employer. They help when needed or if i ever have a question or am stuck with anything. They also will provide me with materials if needed for relevant things to my apprenticeship.
I receive a good amount of support from my training provider. They also supply me with materials that are needed for the apprenticeship and help me with more things that i can complete for my off the job hours.
I would say that my qualification so far helps me in my role with admin as i learn about things in my apprenticeship that are relevant to my work place. For example i work in recycling and i did a course on how environmental regulations can affect the organisation.
In our company we sometimes attend careers events or we hold apprentice assessment days to help them see what our company is about.
Yes
EMR is a great place to work! The employees are all so kind and welcoming and will help you out if you need it. When joining EMR i didn't feel out of place everyone made it so easy to settle in.
I would say just be yourself, everyone at EMR is so different in different ways and the diversity with that is amazing to see and be around.
