Day to day, I am working on large infrastructure project where I am a CAD technician, undertaking roles such as modelling all the MEP assets as well as a role in the sizing of the equipment.
I have greatly improved my communication skills, this has been through speaking during client meetings, showing my drawings and explaining why I have made these decisions.
I really enjoy my programme as I have a good balance between work and university.
Every semester I have 2/3 modules where I have to pass to move onto the next semester and this has been very clear, in terms of what is expected to pass that module.
My employer is very supportive, allowing me time to study in my work week, allowing me to be less stressed about my exams.
As a DDS student the university has been very helpful with my condition, giving me support when I ask for it.
Most modules I complete at university have been helpful at work, because these are relevant this allows me to apply my knowledge in projects
At work, we have plenty of opportunities for everyone; language classes, sports days and plenty of social activities every couple of weeks.
