I am a apprentice lab technician for balfour beatty and my roles involve me testing and reviewing materials needed to use on SZC, we also are doing new trails and plate testing on site to the engineers specs.
Yes i have learnt many new skills being in the new career i am in.
Im enjoying the new career change and look forward to the skills i can learn
It is structured ok, can improve on the layout of the programme easier to see the steps and what to do.
I receive everything i need or would need, my mentor allocates me time to study and learn and if needed longer allows me to and helps me study.
Yeah we email a lot and teams call some things are hard to understand over teams but not there fault
I think the qualification helps some what but is not 100 percent for my role

they are a good company, and everyone seems very nice and wants to help
be open minded to anything, always look to help and stand out, and never shy away from a challenge
