i work with the two to two and half year olds supporting them as they grow, helping my colleges and supervise the children of course.
i have learnt to be patient and understanding, changing nappy’s hygienicly, being a key person and giving feedback, working with other people all of the time
i love my programme, it was always my dream to work with children and my work has supported me so much as i work as an apprentice. much better than college as an option
very organised, i work 8:30 to 5:30 every day but every other week i get a college day on a monday which is great for me to get more college week done. also get a review often
a lot, if i need a college day and catch up lesson they will let me have time off. if i have an issue they help me with it and i feel comfortable to go up to them about stuff
they give us lessons every other week and my assessor comes for reviews often and observations and i have their emails and phone numbers if i need to contact them
very well, the lessons give me lots of information to help me in the nursery.
i don’t think so but we do do some team building activities sometimes
Yes
they are much more underatanding than other company’s, very supportive and i get lots of time to do college work compared to other companies like mine.
make sure you get on with college work and make sure you keep up with the actual work you have to do
