My role involves more data analytics. This involves preparing dashboards, presentations, via different software for insurers, clients, and other required parties about our clients exposures and performance history. Another aspect is also the development of operational excellence tools to improve the efficiency of the team and division, from data platforms to improving existing processes with software like power automate and power apps.
Yes i have, throughout my time in this program I have developed a wide arrange of skills, in a range of software's. This includes tools from Power BI to Power Automate. Attached with these software's are also complementary skills that are required to use these programs effectively, such as presentation skills with Power BI, to intuitive and critical thinking skills with Power Automate to solve problems.
I heavily enjoy this program. As someone who deeply values personal development, the opportunities the program and team have provided in developing different skillsets have been very immensely helpful. From my start a bit over six months ago, I have personally felt a great sense of personal growth and progress compared to who I was before.
The program I think is well organised, however there is room for improvement. The way they first unloaded the programs details and timeframe into the graduates at the beginning of the programme was well structured and clear. However, as the program progressed there became instances where unclear instructions were given which lead to general confusion, however it was always followed by a quick and promptly response and solution.
I receive plenty of support, from work specific support, to mental health support, fostered by a collaborative and supportive team, culture, and program.
They can be slow sometimes and provide differing timeframes and solutions, which creates confusion sometimes.
The qualification is very impactful, and it feels like a personal investment into my own development. I have learned so much since I started the qualification.
Professional networking events mostly, which are well organised, interesting, and fun overall.
Yes
Good culture, big industry, and an amazing place to foster both professional and personal growth and development.
Be yourself, and prepare for the AC!
