  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is a project manager for the Advanced Analytics side of our business. To oversimplify, I help manage the different tasks that the team members do. Currently we have one main task that we all focus on, and some ad hoc tasks that some team members do. We project managers ensure that all tasks are recorded, tracked, monitored and ultimately are fit for the end brief.

  • Unfortunately, the training provider has not been to good. All Degree apprentices on this course have had various issues. There seems to be a real disconnect. However, as the sessions are all online, this is bound to happen.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Toyota GB to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel apprenticeships are a better career option anyway, but Toyota specifically has been really good. Although not perfect, this is definitely a good experience.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Toyota GB?
  • Sounds daft but just apply. I like cars and saw Toyota, I had no idea I would be working with data, but here I am.
