  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've been upskilled during my apprenticeship and now I'm on a level 4 apprenticeship due to this upskilling. But lack of resources (senior experience staff) cause a lot of self skilling.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • 10/10, Barnsley College was literally perfect. My tutor was great, and genuinely wanted me to succeed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Being apart of the Automation Team, my qualification helped learn around that. However I learned nothing about how to do my job more effectively through college. However that is not my employers fault as there is no course for my specific job role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • The authority has its young club for new and young employees to welcome people in. I also went on several outing with my team.
