I'm responsible for the learning and development team at Barnsley Council. This involves coordinating the corporate learning offer and overseeing the management of our LMS.
Yes it has given me the opportunity to undertake and understand our organisation from a more strategic level.
I really enjoyed the programme. It was challenging but well managed and we were given all the resources and support needed to succeed.
It was very well organised. We were given a full programme of dates/deadlines etc before the programme started which allowed you to plan your work accordingly.
I couldn't have asked for more support. I was given work to stretch and challenge me and opportunities to carry out different tasks to help me gather the evidence needed.
I received tons of support. They were quick to get back to me when I had queries, and the resources they provided were excellent. I also had a wonderful coach to support me when needed.
It helps me to look at things from a more strategic angle. I have a greater understanding why decisions are made and the importance of organisational culture to ensure success.
I only have experience of some health and wellbeing activities such as a running group and yoga.
