  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have developed my data literacy, my coding skills, my project management, leadership, and creative problem solving. I have also had the opportunity to improve my presentation and public speaking.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very much enjoy it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured, with two 6-month rotations in different teams, followed by a 1-year rotation. However, it is not the most organised, with some teams treating the graduate scheme as an afterthought, which can lead to reduced opportunity.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Whatever I need, I am given plenty of space to complete my studies and my employer prioritises my personal development.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again, I get whatever I need. I have never needed to ask for extra time to work towards things, this is their priority as well.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have a stronger theoretical knowledge of many of the things that I have to put into practice in my day-to-day role. So I would say that the qualification helps a lot.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are, we have social clubs and events on many levels, from local team to company wide. We also have the opportunity for company conferences abroad to meet teams from across the world, last year we did one on a cruise ship!
