  • On a day to day basis, I’m out with my mentor who takes great care of me & gives me task to do each day. As I get better at them I do bigger jobs

  • Getting the exclusive training from the best engineers on my patch & they give me great information on how to tackle certain areas

  • To be honest, how the programme is structured is quite poor. As they haven’t had an apprenticeship since 2009, we are Guinea pigs & it’s as if we are all trying to figure things out.

  • All I know is that trainers are not to blame for the structure of how it is.
