I have recently completed my level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, during my time I trained for 2 years full time at TTE Training completing a broad base training course which provided me with all the necessary skills and knowledge to transition to site full time in the 3rd year. Day to day on site I worked closely with engineers and craftsmen to advance my knowledge and gain confidence in the profession.
I have gained a wealth of skills during my apprenticeship which I will carry with me during my career. I am able to tackle any job confidently
I thoroughly enjoyed each stage of the apprenticeship and felt like it was the correct length to gain the experience I need.
The structure of the apprenticeship program was put together well, each stage felt like it was worth working towards and it never felt like a waste of time
My apprenticeship manager couldn’t have been more supportive of us during my time and I have gained a strong connection and great respect for him. I felt confident that I was able to ask for help whenever I needed it and no question was too silly to ask him
I received a good amount of support from my training provider (TTE) and I never felt pressure to meet deadlines
I feel confident that my qualifications have helped me progress to a higher tier of craftman
In TTE I took part in outward bound trips which greatly improved my relationship with my colleagues
Yes
It is a great place to work with many opportunities if you push yourself to make yourself known
