Currently work as a senior associate in audit. Daily role includes carrying out audits as part of a team, usually requiring testing on excel and interviewing and challenging clients
Studying for the ACA, and have completed a number of internal training courses which have developed my business knowledge and skills
Although audit isn't the most exciting career path, the Brightstart scheme has been a positive experience in terms of developing skills and meeting new people
The managers I work with are quick to recognise the work you put into your job
The scheme is fairly structured, especially considering I was part of the second ever intake as part of the scheme (and the first intake completing a 5 year training programme)
Plenty of support from lots of different areas and people, especially when taking exams

Although the first year is difficult as I am based in London, Deloitte offered the most competitive salary. As this has increased, it has allowed a much more socialable lifestyle
Plenty of social opportunities within work
Yes
Deloitte has put me in a very good stead to choose what I want to do once completing the scheme
