  • Team member in a team of line chefs. Plating up, cooking starters, desserts, pot wash and deep cleaning

  • I enjoy the atmosphere of a kitchen and the amount that I'm learning and skills I'm gaining for a promising career

  • It is very well structured, works perfectly along side my in kitchen shifts and makes weekly coursework very easy to complete

  • I receive any and all support I need. The team is always able to answer my questions or forward me to someone who can as well as providing me with the time and space neccesery

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is always helpful and easy to reach as well the monthly in person meetings that makes it very easy to communicate any issues or questions

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have learnt a lot about the legislations that apply to me as well as health and safety in the kitchen that helps me to be better at my job

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Only annual staff parties for Christmas, other than that there isn't any socialising outside of shifts

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are very supportive towards their staff and genuinely care about preparing you for a long careers hopefully with them


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Beefeater?
  • Don't be afraid to reach out because they genuinely want to assist you in your career and training and don't be afraid to request further training once comfortable. You can only progress if you let them help
