1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I spend 4/5 days a week in the surgeries with the dentists assisting them and comforting patients. The other day i complete my training and study dentistry along with the support of the resources provided

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I had no idea about dentistry before joining with the Tempdent course. It has improved my knowledge on all thing dentistry based and has let me become an amazing nurse. I feel more confident in myself and helping other

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

9/10 - I love the programme but i do get a bit stressed and nervous with the assessments.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very organised in working the way through the units, the only downfall was the observations, it can be difficult to find a date with all treatment needed.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive and helps me where they can if i need it.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The provider offer lots of resources and support to us students. We can ask for help and will receive it. We also get checks on our mental health and how we are doing personally aswell as work wise.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training allows me to understand the reasoning behind things better. I understand why dentists are doing things and can know what we will be doing next before needing to ask.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have social events every now and then which is great to lift the team spirit and become better connected.
