My current placement is within Sustainability, so involves meetings, stakeholder management, prioritisation due to deadlines, regulatory awareness and knowledge, understanding of customer segments, engagement strategy creation, use of Microsoft applications and more.
I have developed my presentation/public speaking skills, as well as time management and prioritisation. I have developed my stakeholder management skills - key for my job. I have also developed knowledge around financial services and regulation particularly.
I love the programme, the variety of placements is great, and everyone has been very supportive - from the apprenticeship provider, to the university, to my employer. There's lots of opportunity.
My talent coach is extremely supportive and sets me clear tasks and completion dates, and helps me to understand my focus areas.
