I work in business controls so look to mitigate risk to the business. Currently, i am an extra resource so my work is varied e.g. spreedsheets/ creating a sharepoint/ doing write ups on scams and regulation to be aware of
Excel, communication and public speaking skills have improved
I enjoy the working part of it. I don't enjoy the off the job hours writing part
Very well organised. I know what to expect e.g. 4 different placements and how my overall grade is formed
Plenty, we have lots of webinars and catchup sessions if we need anything and also a buddy from the year above to help us
Quite a bit but could be more ie calls aren't very frequent
Not really very much- it just harms it if anything as it is extra hassle
There is a couple groups like climate change or chinese community but not really much else which is a bit disappointing and could deffo be improved on
Yes
Excellent employer with great perks and a good culture there where I have made to feel welcome
Knowing the business and what it does inside out will impress them and having good knowledge of current affairs
