  • Site visits in company van, online/virtual meetings and admin for change requests, university learning and assignments

  • Absolutely, I went from almost zero knowledge on Network engineering to feeling comfortable in my day to day tasks. My skills will only continue to develop

  • I love my programme. There is help and support whenever I need it. My colleagues, mentors and manger are all amazing and all want the best for me. No complaints at all!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There is quite a lot of freedom in this programme. The opportunities for development are all available to you, you just have to take them. If you are proactive then the structure works great.

  • There are so many levels of support available. I have never felt unsupported in any aspect

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Blackpool and the fylde college look out for their students. The support is available if you need it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Personally I have found the most valuable aspects of learning to happen on the job itself, rather than through the university learning. However, the university work does get you the qualification so is equally as important

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I am the Programme Experience Rep on the Early careers committee and get involved in as many of the social events as I can. These events ran by the ECC have been so much fun and amazing for networking and building connections

  • Yes

  • Vodafone has been an amazing experience and opportunity for myself and many colleagues. The support, the freedom, the responsibility and the benefits make Vodafone the perfect introduction to corporate life. I can't recommend it enough


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Vodafone?
  • Make sure you are applying for the right reasons. Do your research and pick something you can see yourself enjoying. First impressions are crucial, but more importantly... be yourself
