  • I am a London bus driver. This involves picking up my bus from the depot after doing some pre service checks , running light to the starting point, run in service between two points toad fro

  • New skills, I learnt how to drive 12 meters long vehicle, learnt to manouvre it in tight spaces

  • Everyday is exiting, I keep learning

  • Well organised. My trainers and mentors knows their job well and seem to enjoy I very much

  • 100% support from my mentor, my managers, fellow colleagues, everyone basically

  • A lot of support, there's always someone to answer my questions

  • Training and real life experience are usually not in sync but there's a lot of information I use when I am working

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is a pool table but I don't really use it by choice

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are the best provider. They keep you in the loop with everything you need to know. When you need someone to ask a question, there's always someone available. Staff are very nice and patient


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Go-Ahead London?
  • Be prepared to give your time, yu must be a teachable person otherwise you don't get anywhere if you don't listen, or argue or justify mistakes. Admit when you wrong, be prepared to be corrected
