  • my role is an maintenance engineer it involves completing maintenance task of machinery and fixing faults

  • from royal mail side it was very organised but from training 2000 it has been a bit hit and miss with getting work marked and talking to trainers

  • while there is lots of information in place it can be difficult to actually talk to a real person

  • there are lots of ways the training has been very help full but in some i feel there is no cross over with what my role needs.

  • yes there are lots of social events and networking events

  • as an apprenticeship it is well paid and leads to a well paying position in a well established business

  • when applying for the engineering apprenticeship the interview is as much about team work as it is about work ethic
