My role in year 1 is to learn every aspect of being a store assistant. I work on the tills, put stock out and tidy the store.
My confidence has risen as well as my time management, organisational and communication as work centres around brilliant customer service and doing this not just individually but as a team
I never wake up in the morning dreading work so quite a lot! times goes really fast as you are always very busy!
I am always involved and encouraged by the staff and any problems I have I can go to anybody and feel comfortable.
My programme is excellently structured and my tutor is very knowledgable as well as great support by my area manager. I know exactly what to do and when!
I can call, text or email at anytime and they always put the effort in when I need it. they always go through anything which I feel I need to improve on in detail.
My employers are always saying if I need any help then I can always contact them at anytime. This comes from all staff.
My salary is livable but I wouldn't be able to support my self by having my own house so have had to stay with my mum. But the salary ahead is much more encouraging.
we have team activities and day outs with my colleagues and theyre are various offers e.g. discounted gym memberships and vouchers on the website.
