Job Title is Formulation Apprentice. I make, develop and test Unilever's Deodorants. Working in a big team and also as an individual. Working on two projects currently
Working on my degree. Learning how to prioritise work to my advantage and helping others when asked, but knowing when to say no if I'm too busy. Learnt to write scientific reports.
Very enjoyable. Meeting new people interested in similar things. Learning about the subject I'm studying in real-life situations and putting it into practice. It far exceeded my expectations.
I feel like I'm needed in some cases but not all. I know that I need to build my knowledge in certain areas to become more valued on a knowledgeable scale.
Very organised - regular catch-ups to ensure that I'm on track. Lots of support where needed but not too over-crowding.
Line manager provides excellent support, helping me to understand where I'm needed most, what I need to do to fill these rolls and makes time to have regular catch-ups
Provides a lot of people around me for support and lets me know where I can go for the best advice.
More so than expected. I have a healthy attitude towards money and so keeping on top of costs on my salary is fine.
Yes there are. I'm a musician and a kayaker, both of these are provided in the area.
