I currently focus a lot on IPFC's and FAIR's which are used to qualify products and processes.
I have learnt how to do lots of new processes that are required to do my role. I have also developed my technology and excel skills.
I enjoy my programme, I am learning something new everyday. Whether that be at work or during college.
I like that there is a set day for college each week, it helps me to plan my week and ensure I am completing the hours required. However when I first started it wasn't well communicated and I encountered a few issues - especially with their laptops
I receive lots of support from employer, my manager in particular is very helpful and ensures I understand what I am doing and offers help if I need it.
I receive good support from my training provider both during my college hours as well as outside my sessions if I am stuck. My teachers are also very helpful in extending due dates for assignments during busy periods at work.
Even though my qualification isn't quality focused, it helps a lot with my day to day work. I am learning about new knowledge and skills that I can apply in my role and I also have a project that is helping to improve a process at work.
There are a few extra curricular activities but none that really spark my interest so far.
Yes
I would recommend Lisi Aerospace to a friend because their are lots of opportunities for growth and have a friendly team environment. It is a great company to develop professionally and build on your engineering knowledge.
If you are still in school and looking to apply for Lisi Aerospace, I would say definitely make the most of their work experience that is available. It is the best way to see which area you most enjoy and you can then decide where you want to apply.
