My role as an apprentice engineer is to assist on projects. This can vary from helping with calculations to helping with drawings. This includes client meetings and regular internal meetings.
Improved my team working skills, as well as becoming more familiar with software that are used in industry (such as excel).
The programme is very enjoyable and the people in my team are very nice.
The work side is good but the university side could be better structured.
The support from my employer, line manager and team is very good. This includes regular catch ups, and progress meetings between employer, me and the training provider as well as advice for working towards ICE accreditation.
The support from my training providing is available if needed when working towards my degree.
The training from my training provider is starting to link to my work. It is helping me to think more analytically.
There are networking events, and social activities (such as charity days and Christmas socials)
Yes
There is a good work culture.
To be authentic.
