I am a Digital Energy Apprentice and I am currently shadowing Engineers and doing small individual tasks
I am learnt lots so far, I have learnt a lot about BMS and the industry and have gained better skills with customer satisfaction
I really enjoy it, it is a new adventure for me and I have enjoyed every day, I have met wonderful people and have been able try new things and been given the right training to aid this.
Extremely organised, the college course is nicely spread out and the BCIA courses too. The organising of every day on site is very good too and I can ask for certain sites etc. if needed.
Loads of support, i can ask for help from my apprentice manager, line manager, other engineers, other apprentices and tutors. Schneider also have lots of websites if ever these people are unavailable.
We have Schneider internal courses which mainly focus on what we do every day and then courses from horizon help with plant equipment and how we incorporate them into BMS.
Everything we see can be confusing at first, when you get to learn about the theory side it all goes hand in hand together.
Schneider other many things to do, their most popular being the Schneider marathon which is something I want to take part in, in the future! They host Christmas activities too!
Yes
They are so supportive and help me at any point they can, they value every employee the same and offer endless opportunities, the structure of the company is fantastic and the employees are even better!
Be Curious, it is the most important factor of the job, you can only learn if you ask questions.
